When Dr. John Bergström and his wife Carol founded Bergström Wines in 1999, they wanted to start a business that would become a legacy for their children and pay tribute to John's agricultural Swedish upbringing. Even though these are relatively young vines, their son, Josh, is making award-winning wines, like the ones in this painting. The elaborate etching on the double-lever corkscrew shown here complements the family shield. And, the Bergström name is reflected in the wine. The overall composition tries to capture the elegance of Bergström's Gregory Ranch Pinot Noir.
